Top
Ten SF Films of the 20th Century
Voting
Form
We tried this in 2000 for
Chicon 2000, but the century hadn’t ended yet.
We’d like to give you another chance to pick your top ten SF films of
those released between 1901 - 2000. The Film Doctors - film critics Dr. Bob
Blackwood and Dr. John Flynn - will bring their show on the road to Torcon 3 and
announce the Top Ten science fiction films you select. For lists of films, try www.filmsite.org/momentsindx.html;
for individual film information try the Internet Movie Database: www.imdb.com
.
Rules:

2000, The Millennium Philcon, ConJose’, Torcon 3, Noreascon Four and
Interaction in 2005. That is one vote per person, not per membership.
3. Re-releases such as
director’s cuts count as the same movie. Non
SF Examples: Apocalypse Now (1979) and
Apocalypse Redux would count as the
same movie. The
Wild Bunch (1969), and its re-release reissued (1981) would count as the
same movie. It has the same cast and the same director.
4. Remakes count as different
films and will need the director or year of release in order to identify them.
Remakes have different casts and different directors. Non SF Example:
5.

matter which rating the film received and then weighted by the rating positions.
7. Films not released by the
year 2000 will not be counted.
8.
Comments made about individual films may be used unaccredited in future
publications.
